Received texts from this number already assuming its a scam. I am not even with AGL and who the heck has overdue bills and is just asked to call the number to discuss options...who is so dumb to pay?!

Received a text a couple of days ago claiming my "electric bill" was overdue and asking for payment. I checked my AGL account and they owe me money (for solar), the last bill was a credit, and the next bill isn't due until next month.

Fake/scam text from this number regarding unpaid gas bill.

This scam is still circulating. We don't even get AGL in our area! It started with a text from noreply now the phone calls have started. Hubby gets as far as 'press 1 to continue' then hangs up.

Text received from company posing as AGL saying Gas bill is due and giving this phone number to call.

I also received this text, but the reference number and bill amount correspond to that on the bill (I am a current AGL customer). I called the 1300 number as the bill was already in dispute and should have been on a lock, and and ended up talking to somebody in AGL.

So.. if this is a scam, they have access to AGL's billing database, and pass difficult customers through to real AGL.

Got a scam AGL SMS for an overdue energy bill. So-called reminder message to renegotiate terms.

I have received a text message to tell me that my power bill is over due and advised me to click on no.1300658955 to discus my options for payment

Got the same msge today saying $159.60 and a reference number.

2 requests to pay non-existent Gas bills.

I received a call from a hidden number with recorded voice that my gas bill was overdued of $$$. I punched my DOB and IT was asking if I would deal with this by Friday 13-Sep. I said yes. I called AGL the following day as I have Electricity with them. I found that my Gas was not with them, but I definitely consolidated the account. Anyhow, I switched Gas back to AGL.
Today I got SMS from 0416905141 to contact 1300 658 955 to pay $$$ amount overdued.
This is ridiculous!!

I got frequent phone calls with undisclosed caller ID saying its important message from AGL. Also it said Gas bill is due.

Text received from company posing as AGL saying Gas bill is due and giving this phone number to call.
Gas bill has already been paid and no more due so I knew this was a scam.
