I get multiple calls pretending to be from Telstra. First I am asked to confirm my name (!) then my date of birth and my residential address. They then ask me to confirm my order - which i had never made.

I have repeatedly refused to give that information because i do not believe the call is from Telstra. Yesterday, i searched the telephone book to find an 'advice' number for Telstra. Each number told me of a different number to ring. This wasted half an hour. The third call to Telstra told me the 02884884922 was NOT a Telstra number. Telstra then told me the best thing i could do was to hang up immediately when that number showed up on my mobile. They said they can’t stop it happending
