I recently start receiving phone calls from this number, 1 to 2 times a day, said that they are calling "on the behalf" of AGL, and asking for my personal detail such as DOB & Address, which is extremely suspicious. I hang up or ignore them since then. when you call this number back it will divert to a voice mail declaring itself as AGL blah blah. Do not be fooled , do not give your personal detail.. call AGL's number to discuss if you have questions.
YES, i did recently opt out from AGL but why is this happening?

I received a call from this number. First a missed call then I called back as I was expecting a call from NSW. It said its AGL. I put the phone down but they called back within 10min! They said its AGL calling and asked details to confirm its me. They noticed I recently changed provider and that they can switch me back to AGL if I accept 2000 fly-buy points. How would they know if I have fly-buys or not? They are taking a chance for sure. What now since I gave my personal details?

I have recieved calls from this no, from 6 am- 10pm at least four times an hr.for over four mths I normally do not answer, and no msg's are left. I have occasional told them if they keep calling I will report them for harassment. However it turned out this is agl spam. So for this reason I have chosen to swap providers.

I've got called from this number at least 5 times a day for 3 days now. I normally don't answer the phone if it is an unknown number. I have a message bank for people to leave notes if it's important but so far nil message from this number. It is really annoying especially at work time!
