I had a 15 minute talk with someone and asked for their number. I found this site and read to him the complaint from people. PLEASE NOTE I DID NOT DISCLAIM ANY NAMES FROM THIS SITE WHAT SO EVER. After reading him the complaints he then abused me for calling him fraudulent and I kept asking questions mainly on why his number was blocked. At the end of the conversation trying to tell him he his a fraud he told me to go F&#! myself. And he hung up.

Caller claimed to be from telstra, saying that my internet connection was infected with a virus (not the computer). He did the telstra of linking names to addresses and asking for ages to confirm that person. Asked for their telstra I.D. number and a phone number to call them back on. I then called telstra themselves, one department confirming that the I.D. number did not exist and the other confirming that the number did not belong to telstra (they even blocked the number for me). Do not trust this number.

I received a call from this number claiming to be Telstra Technical Support.
It was very clearly a fraudulent call. They claimed my Internet connection was going to be terminated unless let a technician access my machine.
