i RECEIVE MININUM OF THREE CALLS A DAY FROM THIS NUMBER WHEN I ANSWER THE CALL THE LINE GOES DEAD

I get calls from this number every day.
When I answer they don't say anything... Then a computer says "Goodbye" and hangs up.
I tried calling the number back and it says it is disconnected.
Wish they would stop!

One of multiple persistent SPAM calls per day which are now starting to include calls from more "exotic" destinations inc the sub-continent and the Americas.
What can be done about it?

Same as everyone else, they call all times of the day and week, answer and they hang up, call the number, rings and then says its disconnected. Added the number to my blocked list!

I receive calls from this number 3 times a day, no messages left. I have tried to answer it numberous times but it gets disconnected straight after I say hello.

Calls constantly around 3+ a day. Leaves a voicemail saying hello hello? When i call back its disconnected, very frustrating.

Picked up the phone, noisy background, starts off with 'This is not a marketing call' then proceeded to pitch a life insurance policy. Hung up before they could finish.

My wife is receiving three calls a day from this number, when we call back its disconnected. Judging by the amount of complaints I can see - you really need to do something about tracking this number!!

They have rang multiple times, and always hang up a few seconds after you answer. You can hear noise in the background but nobody talks. Really frustrating.

This number has been ringing my mobile at least 2-3 times daily for the last week. The last call I received was today 16/6 at 12:30. No message is left. Unable to phone the number as number has been disconnected.

This number has called me 4 times today. When I answer they just hang up. When I try to call back it says the number is disconnected.

This number has called three times, doesn't leave a message.. Hangs up when it gets to voicemail.
Did try and ring it back. But all I get is this number has been disconnected and to check the number and try again

Received 2 calls today, first one I answered, extended pause on other end , then they hung up. Second call in afternoon I ignored. Then tried to call back and it says the number is disconnected. Would love to know who they are, and why they don't talk the first time I answer!

2 calls from this no today .. 1st call I answer they hang up .. 2nd call I answer, man talks and says his name is John from some company I've never heard of ... I tell him to stop calling my no, to lose my number then I hang up on him ☺ ... When I get home from work I try to call the number, and get msg that says "Optus advises that this no is disconnected" ... Well, of course it is now disconnected
